Mesotherapy is a highly effective treatment for hair loss, whereby microinjections are placed strategically into the scalp to halt hair and stimulate hair growth. At Skinfinity Medispa, Dr Shikha uses the most sophisticated mesotherapy device known as the U225 Mesogun to deliver a variety of activate ingredients for stimulation of the hair follicles, including Biotin, Bepathen or your own Platelet Rich plasma (PRP).

How does it work?
Unlike other old-fashioned traditional methods of mesotherapy, the U225 device is far quicker and relatively pain-free, allowing rapid injection with faster healing/recovery time of only 24hours. You are advised not to wash your hair or exercise for 24hours following treatment. No numbing cream is required for this treatment and each session takes 30minutes. Ideally a course of 4-6 treatments are needed, one every 6 weeks for optimal results. It is suitable for men and women of all ages.

Treatment Time
Mesotherapy/PRP can also be used to stimulate collagen/elastin production in the facial skin. This is extremely effective for treating fine lines and wrinkles, sun damage, uneven skin tone and dullness. Each session takes 30 minutes and discomfort is minimal with a 24 hour downtime.

For optimal results, it is recommended that treatments are repeated every 4-6 weeks for a minimum of 3-6 sessions.
Results can last up to 12months. Dr Shikha will advise you at consultation about which specific vitamins or active ingredients are best suited to your skin concerns. Redness, swelling, warmth can occur to the area for up to 24hours and you are advised not to wash your ace or apply any products for 24hours after treatment.
